On the 15th of February, when I realized it was already the middle of the month I said, “OMG, it is already halfway through February! Where in the world did the time go?” These past three weeks have been a whirlwind. Besides Ken having surgery, taking care of him, driving him where he needed to go and working, I was up in Marquette last week for my sister’s quadruple bypass surgery and just yesterday at the emergency room for my brother who was having bad chest pains.
Thank goodness everyone is now doing much better but sheesh, this sure has been a stressful three weeks! I think I need a vacation to de-stress… if only I had vacation time left (it kinda got depleted).
Ken’s stitches were removed yesterday and he was given clearance to lose his crutches, drive and go back to work. He decided last night it was a good time to take his blu-ray player back to his theater room. That required him to climb. I told him, “Be careful!! I DO NOT want to go back to the hospital. Three time in three weeks is enough.”
Oh wow. What a whirlwind indeed. I am so sorry to hear that all of this unfolded, but I’m glad to hear everyone is doing better. Hope you get a moment for yourself soon.
